Day of the Dozer

Day of the Dozer, a fundraiser for the Community Cancer Center, was this past Saturday. There were several different heavy equipment machines and trucks for the kids to check out and ride in. Caleb was a little tired, and not too sure at first, but ended up having a good time. Caleb and Dad looking for CAT stuff.

The best seat was on Grandpa's shoulders!!

We found a CAT!!

Waiting patiently in line for their turn to ride in the dump truck.

"Hi Guys!!"

All in all, a fun day, but ready for a nap!!

This was just a random shot from the last few weeks. Caleb wanted to go to the meeting with Mom. He fit fine in the suitcase!

Caleb's 1st Birthday!

Caleb turned 1 Aug. 6th! Hard to believe it's been a year already. And what a fun year it's been. Mom and Dad have both learned A LOT! Friday, on Caleb's birthday, we took him to the Children's Museum in Normal for the afternoon. He loves it there. So much to do and see, and explore. Afterwards we continued the celebration with some ice cream, Caleb's favorite treat. (and Mom's too!)
Sunday we had his birthday party. As you can see from the pics below, he really enjoyed himself. He was a little overwhelmed at first by all the people in his house. But he warmed up, and had a really good time. Huuuummmmmm.....what's in this one??

Time for the CAKE!!

Branson 2010

We took our first long weekend/vacation last weekend to Branson, MO with Grandma & Grandpa Zellers and Aunt Kristen. We had a great time, and Caleb really enjoyed himself. Our first stop on the trip was the Bass Pro Shop. Both Caleb and Grandpa really enjoyed that! We also spent some time playing in the pool, and hangn' out at the playground.
Here Caleb and Grandma & Grandpa are looking at the fish in the giant fish tank.
Caleb was testing out ALL the 4-wheelers. He decided the red one looked the fastest.

He got a fudge sicle one night for dessert. He REALLY liked that! Luckily the bib caught what Caleb couldn't fit in his mouth.

Grandma and Caleb playing at the park.

We ended our trip with a stop at the St. Louis Zoo. It was very hot, but Caleb liked looking for the animals. Dad had to help point them out.
Best buddies!!
