Caleb likes to do anything big people do, including wearing our shoes. Anytime we leave our shoes by the door, he puts them on, and wonders off wearing them.

Christmas Vacation!

Mom & Dad took a few vacation days, so we had an extra long Christmas break.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!

Today was Caleb's first experiance plaing in the snow. These pictures pretty much tell the story of how it went. He was out there about 3 minutes.

"Hum...this is interesting."

"Ok, Dad's showing me the ropes."

"It's really tough to walk in this stuff! Can I get a hand here, Mom? MOOOMMM...put the camera down and get me up!!"

"Ok, I'm getting cold, and this isn't as much fun as you guys said it would be...."

"I'm DONE! Get me back in that warm cozy house with my toys!!"

We're hoping the snow grows on him throughout the winter. We'll try again soon!

Happy Thanksgiving!

What a difference a year makes!! This is Caleb with Tom the Turkey last year...

...and this is Caleb with Tom THIS year!! We could hardly get him to hold still for the picture. The past year has flown by, but we're really looking forward to the holidays this year. We just put our tree up tonight, and so far, so good. He hasn't touched anything, but seems to be slightly annoyed that it's in his play area!

We spent Thanksgiving in Springfield where he got plenty of attention from Aunt Kristen and Grandpa!

One of Caleb's favorite things to do at Grandpa and Grandma Zellers' house is to play the piano. He just needs a little help getting up on the bench.

Caleb likes his bananas! We usually cut them up for him, but he tried eating it by himself this time..

Happy Halloween!

Caleb had a great time on Halloween!! He made the perfect cowboy, and wore the hat much longer than we ever imagined. He did do a little trick-or-treating, but didn't quite get the hang of it. At most places he was taking candy out of his bucket and giving it back.

He has also learned how to go down the steps backwards. This is something we have been working on for quite a few weeks. He's pretty proud of himself!

Fall 2010

I can't believe it's been nearly a month since I've updated the blog. Time flies!! Part of the reason is because we have had a very busy fall, the other part is that it's hard to get any good pics of Caleb these days. He is not interested in holding still for very long, especially not for Mom to take pictures!

A few weeks ago we went to Tanner's Apple Orchard with Aunt Jeni. There were several animals to pet, none of which Caleb was very interested in, and a large play area. The play area was right up Caleb's alley. These days anywhere he can run around and climb on things is a big hit! The pumpkins were as big as he was, and he learned he is a big fan of apple cider!!
