Caleb's First Haircut

These pictures got a little out of order...but I didn't want to leave them out!

Aunt Jeni gave Caleb his first haircut on May 29th.

Here is the "before" shot.
He did really well. We started out with him on my lap, but soon learned he would rather sit by himself like a big boy.

The "after" shot. One handsome little devil!! Thanks Aunt Jeni!!

Caleb's first Hey-Days!
(Hey-Days is the annual festival in Heyworth.)

Aunt Lindsey came with us. Here is Caleb petting the mascot of the Civil War reenactment group.

He was only big enough to ride the merry-go-round, so he rode it twice. Once on the horsey with mom, and once sitting with Aunt Lindsey. It was really hot that day. I think he enjoyed it, but was ready to come home.

Thanks to Caleb's Aunt Bethany we finally have some art work on his walls. It's tough to see in this picture, but his train even has his name on it. She did a great job, and his room finally looks complete!

According to his dad, Caleb is a big Cardinal's fan. Here he is sporting all of his Card's gear.

Just takin' care of business!!
One of his favorite things to do is pound on the keyboard. He could sit there for hours!

We spent some time with Grandma Gail for Mother's Day. Caleb thought her flowers were very pretty, and couldn't wait to get his hands on them!

This & That

Grandma came to Kindermusik last week. Caleb liked showing her how to shake the instruments. It was a fun day for both of them!

Caleb was invited to his first Birthday party last month. His good friend Chloe turned 1!! He was very excited to get his party bucket.

And to eat the ice cream and cake!!

Caleb and the Birthday Girl!

Caleb had fun visiting Grandpa at work. Lots for him to "explore". We also spent some time visiting with Great Grandma and Grandpa. I'm not sure who has more fun.

Caleb and Grandma were playing hide and go seek around the car.

Caleb and Great Grandpa are buddies.

Dad had to drop the crib mattress all the way down because Caleb is starting to pull himself up. Here he is peeking through his bars.
He just can't get enough of watching Wheel of Fortune.

We borrowed a walker from the neighbor, and Caleb loves his new found freedom!! He particularly likes waving at the little boy in the oven door!

We have been very busy over the last month! Although I haven't updated the blog lately, that doesn't mean we've slowed down on the pictures. I will be posting several over the next week, so check back often!
Caleb had his 9 mo. Dr appointment last week and weighed in at 21lbs 4oz. He is 29.5 in tall. He also has 2 teeth on the bottom, and one trying to poke through on the top. He doesn't like you to look at them, or feel them, so there are no pictures of teeth yet...

This is our neighbor cat, Clementine. He and Caleb "play" at the screen door.

Playn' in Dad's truck.

Spring Time

These are just a few pics from the last few weeks. Easter, and other fun spring stuff. Caleb was all decked out for St. Pat's day. He even took cookies to daycare!

Opening Easter baskets at Grandma's.

Grandpa and Great-Grandpa are working on shining up a Jeep for me. Great-Grandpa was helping me check it out!
Just playn' with Uncle Adam.

Hanging out with Dad at Buffalo Wild Wings. Definitely one of my favorite places!

Waiting patiently to see the Easter bunny with Grandma and Aunt Lindsey. Caleb loves to ride on shoulders, but doesn't understand he can't hold on to hair!! Unfortunately Aunt Lindsey is getting the brunt of it this time.

Grandma Gail came for a visit while she was on Spring Break. She even went to Kindermusik with us!!

Hanging out with Dad in the garage. I even have my work clothes on!! Ready to get dirty!
