Easter 2011

Finally a day to be outside and play! Not even wearing a coat this afternoon! Here are just a few pics of the cutest little leprechaun in Heyworth!

It's been a LONG winter! We are very ready for spring at the Zellers' household! Great Grandma and Great Grandpa also get cabin fever, so we spent some time with them over the past couple of weeks. Two of Caleb's favorite things to do at their house is play with the turtle, and eat cookies out of the cookie jar. He knows right where the cookie jar is, and has Great Grandpa trained to help him out.

Great Grandma is pretty good at reading stories. It's almost like she has a little experience. :)

Mom's boots are OK too. Tough to stand up or move very far though.

The first sign of warm weather, we were off to the park. The Thompson boys came to visit, we wish they lived closer!!

This is as close as we could get to getting a picture of Reid and Caleb in the same spot! These boys are on the move...in different directions!!

Caleb looks very handsome with his new hair cut, but he didn't like getting it done one bit. We went to a kids salon called "Cookie Cutters". They had a playground inside to pass the time while we waited, a really cool airplane to sit in while he got trimmed up, and TV's at each station playing Mickey Mouse. He thought it was great until they came at him with the clippers. Mom had to hold him down and we were both covered in hair, tears, and snot when it was all said and done!!

SNOW DAY!!

We spent some time playing in the basement on our snow day. Luckly Aunt Lindsey got Caleb this big blow up thing to play on! He's diving right in!

And then he peeks out. With static hair!!

Caleb has started to want to play on his tricycle, and wants to get on by himself.....

The blizzard of 2011 made for a fun day for Caleb. He has started to come around to the snow, and was out for almost an hour playing!

He mostly likes being pulled around in his new sled, which makes for good exercise for Mom and Dad.

Dad tried to teach him to make snowballs, but the snow wasn't packing well. I guess their plan to bombard mom will have to wait until another day!!

We got over a foot of snow and there were a lot of drifts, some were as tall as Caleb. He's stuck in this one!
