Caleb...

Here are just a few pic of Caleb over the last few weeks. We spend most of our time playing, and Caleb loves it when Dad comes home to play!

He has recently started rolling over in his sleep. The first few times he would wake up and be scared that he was on his tummy. This made for a few long nights for Mom and Dad, but I think he's used to it now. The little monkey he sleeps with is Max, he loves to snuggle with him.

The video below is one of Caleb's first attempts at using his sippy cup. He has the right idea, he knows it goes in his mouth, but right now he is more intrested in chewing on it than drinking out of it!

A little bit of everything.

A few weeks ago we had friends down to go to the ISU game and dinner. Caleb met his friend Chloe for the first time. Chloe is about 3 months older than Caleb, although they are the same size.

He was not really sure what to think of her at first. She really wanted to play, and eventually she did get a hand full of his hair!

Waiting patiently for some lunch. Mom is never fast enough!

This is Caleb watching Wheel of Fortune. He LOVES it! He sits like this the whole time it's on. I'm not sure if its the color of the wheel or the sounds it makes that captivates him.

Reading before bedtime.

Bath time is still one of Caleb's favorites. He splashes and kicks the entire time.

Standing up all by himself!

Much needed nap time for the boys.

This is a video of the first day he rolled over. Andy and I were way more excited than Caleb!

Photo Shoot

Caleb has been the subject of all my photos lately. These are just a few head shots from the last week. Sooner or later he's going to run when he sees me get the camera out!

I just love this one below!

Caleb's First Christmas

We have had so much fun over the last 2 weeks. Caleb loved every moment of his first Christmas, as did Andy and I. Below are pictures from the time we spent celebrating with our families.

Caleb got a Radio Flyer wagon from Uncle Dan. I'm sure we'll be taking many walks with that!

Grandma and Caleb waiting to see Santa.

The new door-way jumper from Grandma and Grandpa Zellers is a big hit. He spends a lot of time bouncing!

Caleb tried Peas for the first time...he is not a fan!

I new Illinois State jersey to wear when we cheer on the Redbirds!

The bows were a favorite of Caleb's this Christmas!

Helping Grandpa unwrap....

He wasn't sure about sharing a chair with the big guy in red, but he warmed up to Santa eventually.

We hope you had as much joy in your holiday as we did. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! We hope you all enjoyed your day as much as we did. Here is a video of Caleb enjoying one of his new toys from Grandma and Grandpa Zellers. He'll loose that baby fat in no time movin' and shakn' in this thing! We'll post more of our first family Christmas soon!

Go Redbirds!!

Caleb attended his first ISU basketball game Tuesday night and he LOVED it! We had great seats thanks to our neighbors, first row, right in front of the cheerleaders. He behaved very well and made it through the entire game cheering the 'Birds on to another victory.

Caleb also caught the attention of the camera man, and was on the big screen. This provoked an "aaaawwww!!" from the crowd!

Dad and Caleb at half time, getting up close to the action!

We had to bundle up to go back to the car. He wasn't sure what was happening. This is the first time he's be taken in anywhere with out being in his car seat carrier.
We think this will be the first of many basketball games. We may have a little Redbird fan!

Green Beans

This week we tried a little bit of green beans. He has decided they are not nearly as good as cereal with graham crackers. The video below says it best!

Caleb also went to the Dr. yesterday for his 4 month appointment. He weighed in at 15bls 13oz and 25 1/2 in long. He is in the 75th percentile! The Dr. said he's doing great, and she thinks he is very handsome. He got 2 shots and didn't cry until after the second one. He looked at me, like "Mom, how could you let this happen?". A big hug and a few pats on the back and he was over it.
